Information about the origin of the Palisades Fire is even more difficult to discern now. Due to the massive size of the fire, investigations into its source have been challenging. Many speculate it is also related to poorly maintained or managed SCE power lines, but some think belated New Year’s Eve fireworks might have caused it.
