Marla BriscoeAttorney Marla Briscoe joined Matthews & Associates in February 2010 as the firm’s Director of Operations. Her intellect, winning personality and compassion are ideal qualities enabling her to coordinate ten lawyers and a large administrative and paralegal staff handling cases for thousands of injured clients. Marla understands that every client has unique needs and that each client is relying on the Matthews & Associates team to pursue their claims. Marla brings a personal commitment to every claim and instills that commitment throughout the firm.

Broad Legal & Business Experience

Marla has successfully managed large projects. Before joining Matthews & Associates, she worked at Hewlett Packard for ten years as the Americas Manager for a global brand protection team. At HP, Marla managed worldwide litigation and investigations involving multi-million-dollar fraud, misrepresentation and breach-of-contract cases. In 2002, Marla founded the Alliance for Gray Market and Counterfeit Abatement, a non-profit global trade association. She served the Alliance as Vice President and Secretary over the course of eight years. Marla was instrumental in raising IT industry awareness concerning issues of fraud and counterfeit theft. She spearheaded institution of the best practices available for countering these problems.

Marla holds degrees in accounting and law.
